A load on the board this morning from R & R EXPRESS....From Augusta , Ga to Fort Bliss, Tx 1578 loaded miles pays $2050 to the truck or $1.29 a mile..Is this broker fricking crazy to offer that rate?
Keep in mind this load is military freight transfering from one base to the other and the government is paying the tab...So how much profit you think this broker is gonna make from this load??? Bottom feeder broker!
What kind of profit is this broker gonna make on this load?

I wouldnt take it for less than $3500 thats minimum, look at where you are going!!! I might add that is my partial price for using 24 foot of deck. Based on the rate you were provided I could almost bet money that it is a partial.

That is why I dont haul for R&R Express, For a load like that I would say $4300 is appropriate!
BAYOU Thanks this. -
I sure hope that is a LTL.......

I told the broker I would move it for $4200 dollars and she would still make a profit on it but she got upset and hung up the phone.

is it me or is there a lack of freight moving in general?

OP, what type of trailer? -
Les2 Thanks this.

R&R has been moving a LOT of LTL military stuff lately...........are you SURE this was TL???

There's plenty of freight, if you just want to work and make a paycheck, but if you want to make a decent profit, that's another story...lol
