What kind of rates are ya'll getting?

    My other run that is 2 times a month is $2200.00-$2500.00 to Queens NY.This run is 310 hub miles...Not to mention it has a 500.00 NY Arb at 100% to me..

    Shorter runs are probably getting better rates actually. I got a new account just recently going from New Castle DE to Oaks PA for $365.00 45-mile run equals out to almost $8.12 a mile

    not bad huh

    Local short hauls are fine if you do multiple loads a day if you only do one a day x 5 a week = $1,825 can't pay the bills like that!

    I could have and did here and there when i had paid for equipment and only $800 in total bills per month.

    Then i went arse in debt with a glider and have to actually work now..........

    No wonder O/O's are dropping like flies. I just dont see any way to get started in this. Now I am pissed off beyond all recognition...

    You really start talking most drivers make between $1.48-$1.90/mi I truly don't understand how many make it.....

    its easy to make it at 1.90 a mile if leased to a carrier, very difficult if your own authority.
