What kind of tech stuff do you guys do?

Ya, not very fond of such “features”

In Computers or Phones.

 

This thread really prompted me to get off my archaic butt and embrace the new technology. I successfully programmed my coffee maker!
Now, the microwave and the automatic clock on my stove are going to be accurate and read the same. Eventually.

 

Till the next power blip...

 

Or when my grandson comes over. That kid really understands tech stuff. In return I teach him old skills, horse shoeing, splicing wire rope, using a chainsaw, how to pull a calf...and he's really interested in all those things. It works out great.

 

Until the next power flicker or time change… LOL

I just use black electrical tape and forget they also tell time.

He's a good kid. Like most, he doesn't have a clue what he wants to be and it changes every day but he's got the smarts and the work ethic to do anything he wants. Me, I just keep my fingers crossed...for him and for his brothers and sisters and cousins.

 

I got Plexmediaserver working on linux. I really like it! Once set up, you add Plex to your TV, tablet or phone, and everything you added to the server is right there.
