Emergency repair tape is good to have, have fixed a water hose with that stuff and it got me to home, 120 miles no problem.
What kind of tools do you carry?

Oh Yeah, I almost forgot. Aside from the great ideas in here, don't forget some JB Weld. That stuff is great. It's about 10x better than super glue, amazing goop, clear cement and the like.
Even if you don't need it for anything on your truck, there's gotta be something around your house that you can use JB Weld on, even if it's just gluing your passed out friend's johnson to his own leg (but be careful about getting those pesky felony sexual assault charges added to your record - it makes the job search challenging).Mommas_money_maker Thanks this. -

I found a two foot winch bar for those times your in tight places and when you got that winch over the tire and just need to get one more #### click on it. Got it at the joplin petro.

I got me one of these - Milwaukee Hackzall. One charge is enough to cut a 4x4 5~6 times. Regular sawzall blades fit on it. Beats trying to cut dunnage with a hacksaw.
