What kind of truck gadget or modifications do you guys have?

What's funny is that even though I have all that crap I listed above I still drive along in silence and think a lot of the time. Especially when I've got a car or building project going at home. That's the stuff I love to think about.

 

Fast truck so just racing other drivers all day

 

I have a flesh light attached to my steering wheel to make the super bumpy roads a little more enjoyable.

 

I don’t even have a fm radio in the truck

 

I bought French language CDs and maintenant je peux parler francais asi bien.

 

Sound of motor changes, I hope to hear it.
My teenage years im blasting up the interstate at stupid teenager speed. Radio blasting, do I hear something? Turn down radio, motor rapping bad. About quarter mile that poor lil 283 windowed the block and puked its guts through the oil pan. Looked in rear view to see parts bouncing down road.
As previously stated I want to hear my surroundings...

 

Lol, your NYC area though, right? I always turn off whatever I've got on when I'm in traffic. I hang up the phone too.

 

I am very much of the old mindset
I use a CB and road atlas and my phone
No GPS. I don’t get lost calling customers for directions. Versus following some electronic gadget.

 

Oh boy, a GPS is a tool, dude. Add it to the tool box.

You don't call customers for directions? Then you're the idiot blocking the gate for all of us who have been there before.

You're probably right, electronic gadgets will be the downfall of us all. Soon we'll all be pedaling our trucks and having storks drop rocks with chiseled messages on them from brokers.
