I drive a 2004 sterling tri axle. Im on my 2nd brake in 6mths. I know another guy is on his 3rd and one on his second.. ive never tore one out until i got this truck 4mths ago. 2mth i drove a volvo brake stills there with another driver in it. Ive been driving 4yrs and grew up in trucks.I use only at complete stops. We use the 2piece that you use the clutch to install. Can anyone explain this. Like i said ive drove several trucks never broke one until this truck. Shearing tangs off.

Install a 2 piece Babcock clutch brake, it's made of heavy steel with steel tangs.

Clutch and gear suppliers usually handle them. About $25.00.
