What makes a clutch brake go bad?

    Same with double clutching. Clutches, pedals,springs, knees. Lol!
    I’ve never used the “upshift brake” while moving but knowing that it was originally intended to be just another tool for real operators to use sparingly in needed situations is good and sets the mind at ease during those intense times of panic were the pedal goes all the way down before the brain says “whoa” won’t generally destroy it. Lol!

    I’ve never used it that way. Don’t think I ever will. I’ll give the clutch one quick jab, if needed, for an upshift on a steep hill, loaded heavy, from a stop, only when if I have to. I see no practical use for engaging the clutch brake, while rolling. Seems it would slow down the quick shift process, when the whole reason is to get it rolling, ASAP.
