what mpg can i expect ?

    what mpg can i expect with 2003 12.7 l , 13 speed 3.58 ratio , 430 hp on century ??

    its got weed burner muffler on it right now...
    I plan to get rebel ecm tune, apu , wheel covers, trailer skirts , and i plan to cover all air dams under front bumper and side skirts .

    Dont know ratio on my truck,its '99 century,same engine but 10 speed.My avg is 7-7.5mpg,driving 64-66 mph at 1550rpm.If the engine is ok you should be at 7mpg easily.

    You can EXPECT to get 9mpg....ask Dice

    I leave today for Phoenix. First big trip since I got some kind of progress made in my struggles.

    I see no reason not to expect low to mid 6's. Low 7's should be realistic too.


    Just went back and looked at my DDEC report from when I bought the truck. It was run by Cross Creek Trucking out of Medford Oregon during this time.

    best i've seen in the NW is 6.1 but that didn't last long. average has been around 5.5

    load from salt lake to phoenix. 5.4.

    coming back. 4.5

    can't wait to see what happens on the east coast.

    Lol...no I am saying you have had your ups and downs with mileage and have put a lot of time and effort into optimizing your fuel economy, it has been a struggle but you might have it solved ....

    well I wont be driving NW much..it will be mainly midwest and east .. will see i guess ..thanks for all the info guys. always good to hear others opinions

    MN DRIVER: bro you bought your truck from cross creek in medford???
    I used to bring them Containers ..I ALMOST bought one of their trucks from pepe .
