Dang!!! Is this thread still going??? I must admit I don't spend my time worrying about a talk forum talking about what can't be done to help the trucking industry. Yea, I am still with LS even though I went bankrupt a few months ago, I was lucky enough that my father had retired and let me take over his truck. Now that I am back in a mobile home and driving a old pickup and don't have much of any bills to speak of I am doing great here now. I see what you guys mean about having money here at LS.
How do you LS guys feel about there new policy they started this year? Now the LS agents give LS loads away (that are not preloaded on LS trailers of course) to other carriers even before they post the load for us to take? Ever wonder why you don't see many good loads anymore??? When I talked to the supervisor over bco services he informed me that there revenue had dropped alot so at the begining of 2008 they told agents to get rid of every load they had no matter how they had to do it without regard of our drivers lol![]()
I asked him how that was fair and he said it was so I asked how is it fair that we can't haul for anyone but LS but the only people who feed us can give there loads to any carrier in the nation who wil take it. He said that I could get my own authority and do the same but he was stumped when I said "but who's authority are the agents operating under"?
Listen guys, I haven't read this thread in a long time but I don't think I have said that LS wasn't a good company. I just tell the truths of what you should know before leasing to them. If the truth makes anyone mad I apologize. Of course there is always those drivers who just don't want to know. I wished I were one of those I could live my life much happier. Also last year I grossed 160,000 but after deductions I payed taxes on 28,000.
Now that I have a pissed you all off again I will check this thread again in a few months or years lmao.

Boy i wonder how many post here are from the loosers from that company right back here ,saying: What the whole story : I have 5 trucks and keep getting f by these a holes its funny the way these people who work for these companys don't think what there doing to americans and to there kids when they get older don't worry a holes your kids will work for free hahahaha and i;ll be dead!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone i want to start something against trucking companys this crap has to stop one thing they take fuel surcharge and add it to pay whatttttttttttttt?? So .89 a mile plus fuel is a 1.14 wow i pay my solo drivers .36 a loaded mile cause i get f for d/h then feessssssssssssssssssss some companys like tri-state pays a 1.53 a mile plus fuel for semi load. If its a semi load ,plus fuel i seen 1.81 to 1.91 butttttt add d/h up to 600 miles lol my agv. Was around 1.36 a mile after all fees d/h o teams around 3000 miles a week lol you will sit ,,,,, stand up people we can change this they need us i dont need them to book a load

2017 and you still must have superhuman phone dialing skills to book a decent load.
the percentage they take is to high. Also agents posting cheap freight from other load boards ??? thats called double brokering. Out of 20000 daily available loads 80 percent are double brokered.toss009 Thanks this. -
