Adaptive cruise control springs to mind here.

    ...Or isn’t simply too lazy.

That’s certainly a good way to find out who bothers to do one. :biggrin_25523:

    God willing, you never will.

In this world of complete tards who can’t pick a speed and dial it in even on wide open highway, ACC is the most miserable thing under the sun.

I have a 23 and can turn the head lights off. The parking lights will stay on but not the head lights. Must be something in your settings the carrier wanted on.

    Oxbow and blairandgretchen Thank this.

Are we talking DRL’s or actual headlights?

Yeah, they are the running lights, not head lights per se. But they still light up the trucks across in the other parking lane. Shines right into the interior of the trucks across from me. They are bright. You cant turn those off. Actually, & this is the honest truth. When I do turn the headlight switch to the off position, I can't see any difference. Its just as bright.

I'll also add this, I was going through Diabol, TX on 59 about 2 months ago. Pulled up to a traffic light & a couple in a car bumped his horn. I looked over & he said, buddy, you aint got no tail lights. I thanked him, looked down & the dash lights were on & I had headlights or at least I thought I did (it was the running lights). Looked at the headlight switch.... Off.
Those dang auto headlights. Apparently, as it began to get dusk, the lights (running lights) came on but didn't turn on the trailer tail lights... just the running lights & dash lights. It was about 30 minutes into dark by that time. Turned the head light switch on , stopped & all was good.
The auto detection turned on before it was dark enough to notice.... then I never noticed because the running lights were on. Had they not been on, as it got dusk, I would have noticed. As it was, I drove about 45 minutes after I should have without tail lights.

Again... new and improved  :angry5:

No there are no lights/indicators in the mirrors on my 22 model VNL.
