What permits / authority do I need

    I just purchased my own truck. Ill be hauling water and local produce in 3-4 different states. Can anyone tell me what permits and authority I will need to operate legally? Also, there was a time when some states were cheaper than others to register your truck in. Is this true any more or should I just do it in the sate i live?
