What Picture taking app for receipts do you use for Trucking?

Scanner pro, buy it one time on iPad, no monthly fees.

 

NJ fuel tax auditors only credit actual fuel receipts. I'd still keep them monthly.....

 

Paper, goes into briefcase, organized by old style folder.

My phone is a smart phone. All I do is take a video of something nice once in a while. There is no value to it to me in having it gather electronic information.

 

How are you able to keep track of where your money's going with all the receipts in a briefcase?

 

Recept fuel fuel folder, reciept food, food folder. etc etc etc. Mr Paper clip on each one top on down.

At tax time I was told I don't need this, dont need that dont need this yes need this and that but not this, that and all of these.

That briefcase got mighty empty Really easy.

Becomes a way of life. I still have that #### thing after what? 40 years?

 

Scanner Pro is one of the best. Been using that for years. I think it was free when I downloaded it, but it’s one of those apps I would pay the $5 or so for.

 

QuickBooks for me, and I link my business checking account to it. I use it on my tablet and phone, just click the expense or deposit - to add it to a category. You can take a pic of the receipt, but keep the original - just in case.
