What pooch to take on the road?

    I am thinking about getting a dog to take on the road with me. I am driving a Peterbilt car hauler with a 48" bunk. Don't want a huge dog. But don't want a sissy dog either. Was thinking of a French bulldog. Any suggestions?? Thoughts?

    I suggest getting a dog from the shelter they need loved the most.That's where I got my dog Tiny and she was my co pilot the entire time OTR.I still have her.

    Get a small one that doesn't shed too much. Even those need to be brushed at least once a week. Might find something in a dog shelter.

    All jokes aside; I take my son's Pit on the road with me often. You got a Pete, you have the means. I know nothing about the French, but it's a similar / cross breed of mine. I'd go with that.
