We have a (spelling????) Bichon Frisse. I suggest you get a dog with hair Vs. fur. Hair=grooming but very little to no shedding. Fur =almost almost no grooming but hair everywhere.

Go to your local shelter that is knowledgeable about their dogs.
Find a lazy pitbull.
You'd be surprised how contrasting they can be. Super high energry or the lazy couch potato.

I would love to get another pug but the one we have now..even after brushing sheds like crazy!!! I want a dog that barks though especially when I'm asleep and some crack head gets around the doors! This one barks at everything!! I sat a pillow on the end table and she barked at it until I threw it at her!!! She's dumb as a box of hammers sometimes!! Her nick name is snot rod!! Anyone that's been around a pug knows why.
