I typically don't combine the two. My loaded speed is 69, unloaded and lite load I run 75-77.

That size tire generally has a 60 mph speed rating. They were originally developed for the rv industry. That is why the placard on trailer says to run them at max psi for that speed. ALL other tall rubber 22.5’s and 24.5’s have a 74-75 mph max speed rating at max psi.
That is one reason why the do not last at fast speeds. They are not compounded to take that heat build up that naturally happens with speed.

Because the carcass passes the north american dot laboratory testing standards for static unloaded spinning at that speed. Meaning it will not throw off its tread cap or blow out the sidewall but that does not mean the tread compound used for that size will hold up for wear. You well be lucky to get 100,000 out of an XZE in those sizes at that speed. 19.5’s are even worse. They well have all kinds of funky wear that will leave you chasing or tail finding out what is wrong with the equipment. Rv’s generally sit and tires rot before they wear out. Tire manufacturers know this and after the three big recalls caused by tires being kept in service to long because they did not wear out and people driving 70+ mph on 10-20 year old tires they started making them wear out faster on purpose.

Here is a recall we dealt with for BFS in that size. The 561 is there version of the XZE and is very popular on RV’s.

This is a standard size for carhaulers drive and trailer positions. I have run the Michelin XZE for 8 years with the Hendrickson Tire Max system set at 110. I generally get 250,000-300,000 miles on my trailer tires running 65-70. I also use centering sleeves and centramatic balancers. I have 160,000 on these and I guess they are good for another 100,000 or so. IMG_0109.jpeg

Goodyear also had a recall for tread separation's last year for all 2021 and 2022 up thru jul for G159’s in 275/70r22.5 size used on trailer applications. G159 is again an Rv tire.
Conti/Gen does not recommend those sizes for trailer use and recommends speeds no higher than 60mph if they are used in that application.

What size tires? Low bed has 255/70s on it and they are rated for 60mph period, run 120psi in them
