What questions are you asking when considering a load?

    The ones that I have dealt with you have to bring pallets or pay for the pallets when you get there. Don't accept the brokers word that you can just buy them at the shipper. Call the shipper and check. then you should be able to get the cost and have that built into the rate or make sure that it is written on confirmation that they will pay for pallets. Not a fan of the "must call for approval and will pay with valid receipt." If that is the case then they should have no issue putting it into the rate or listing it on the rate sheet.

    Personally I avoid any pallet exchange loads that make me bring or leave with pallets.
