The only time I will even consider a 300 mile, 46,000#, tarp load, is if I'm trying to get to the house. Aside from that, all my loads are from 900 to 2700 miles. I do my search from highest to lowest depending on how many hours I have remaining.
The loads that are paying $3.5 a mile are from 600 to 900 miles.

    this guy is crazy^^^^

david, Where are you getting $3.00 plus per mile?

because once you get to where that 3 dollar load is taking you...Your trip back is NOT going to be 3 a mile....

600-900 mile trip at 3 per mile to the northeast or maybe into New Mexico or some half-### freightless area....

Dont Kid me David, Ive been at this Game for a long time........

I am not getting $3.00 a mile on every load, $2.60 is the lowest in the last three weeks.

It's out there. Just because you never found any doesn't mean no-one else has.Every load going everywhere? Of course not. Some of the best info you can get from here is what places are hot. Use that to find the good rounds, triangles, etc.

Well.......Technically I suppose your right. But generallly speaking Im right... most Lanes already are dictated.(Give or take) even when trucks are short.......nobody has the kind of 'magic' to get astounding rates out of ALL areas......

I mean..im Pretty Good, Ive been asked to Dispatch/plan for several carriers.....my efficiency of dead miles is very low......but you can only do so much, if a Small manufascturer is shipping 33,000 pounds of material from Albuqurque,NM to Chicago,Il.......I'll bet my Bottom Dollar that Shipper wont wait 5 minutes for a Truck to Move that beautiful,Easy loadf for $1.70 a mile

    Its All about the lane.....
