Might want to check out a few Schneider FB pages. Big orange is making some changes that are not driver-favorable IMHO.

I was an OO at Schneider until I sold my truck July 1, but I still keep tabs on things. Still, they do many things well. Just be certain to do your own thorough research.
    Good luck!

    Knucklehead and nextgentrucker Thank this.

Thanks. I have. They'll help me get back out there with no training contract, also a good sign on bonus.

    nextgentrucker and 48Packard Thank this.

I credit them with me getting back on the road after over three years out of the truck. If I could pass the road test, they’d sign me in as an experienced driver. I did, and they did. This was back in 2004.

That’s the truth. Unbelievable turn in rate on leased units. I paid mine off two years ago. No way I’d venture into the ocean of huge payments now.

I am on the PODS account now. I average anywhere from 2200-3k miles a week. If you can trip plan this account is for you. Not much interaction with office staff other than your ETA times. Now for the turnover on said account. If there is any is because drivers are not doing what they should be. Providing ETA times, being late, poor trip planning, hitting parked vehicles. The hardest part is just backing the split axle off of a busy street or the random blindsided through a fence. I'm at 52 cents and make good money. I stay out 6 weeks. Don't have to but I do. I like the account but not the company.

Do you run team? Or just yourself driving?

Solo. I'm not sure if teams is an option on this account. I wouldn't do it anyway.
