Roehl seems to be a good company, do they accept their drivers to have their pets with them? Like their dog?

CDL College Aurora, Co. Open 7 days a week they work with you at your own pace. So if you want to go all day every day you can. If you want to only go on the weekends and continue to work you can do that too. The instructors are very helpfully.

i went to all the way to MTC in hazelwood MO. (just outside St. Louis) And why? I went to work for Star Transport out of Morton Ill. Well, the school was quick to set me up. I had applied to three schools on the same day and it took MTC 2 days to actually get me set up. On the third day, they had my bus ticket, then 4 days after applying i was on my 24 hour bus journey to Missouri aka Misery..lol..the other 2 schools..one had called me a week later and i still havent heard from the last one.

Some people fail to remember that Truck Driving School's only job is to teach you enough to get your CDL. If a individual has the willing to learn and continue to progress. no matter how bad a school is if your good your good. When I got out the military I said I was gonna be a driver so I went and got my permit I was the only one in class that had a permit so I was one step ahead of every1 else. My training took 2 weeks and look 15 years later I am still here. You have to wanna know the little thing that some people dont worry about. How much does a gallon of fuel weigh, how much weight will be moved when I slide my tandems/or 5th wheel. Where is the best setting for my 5th wheel so I dont have to keep sliding it. How much weight does fuel add to my drives or steers. I can go on and on. you have to wanna learn everything. Because when you go solo your out on a island by yourself and i their is no1 around to help it really sucks.

that is so tru for many many many schools. but like the one i went to, they did teach 90% of what i needed to know other than holding the wheel. you do have to want to lear the additional stuff afer you get out there...i have refused students on my truck because of their addittude about driving. my first rule before youstep foot on my truck is to RESPECT MY TRUCK, THE LOAD AND THE RD....WITHOUT THAT YOU WILL KILL SOMEONE.

I had 3 local options to consider, Sage, DTS, and the local college...all advertised 1 on 1 training, but I opted for the college...it was closer to home, better hours, and cheapest at $3600, with Sage coming in at most expensive at $5000, DTS was in the middle.

Went to RDTC, Sage was second choice, RDTC was half the time and only 70% the cost. Sage would have required a hotel which wasn't included like RDTC or commuting 4 hours a day so I still couldn't work. RDTC was financed with repay if I stayed with Roehl, and after looking into the school, I found it was a lot more than just a CDL mill, matter of fact I wound up teaching some orientation guys trip planning and map reading before they went out with thier trianers in Gary. Thier schools hadn't taught them any more than needed to pass the road test.
