First overhead after break in period is important, wether new or rebuilt. Best get it done sooner. Protect your investment.

Midnight I had mine done around 140k. It improved power. I had a few valves with a ton of play in them. Hopefully no long term damage. It's 3 or 4 hours for a shop. Cost me around 500.

I don’t see them voiding the warranty but I would get it done early while it’s already in the shop. Just think if your truck had feelings how much happier he would be and loyal to you. You take care of him and I’d like to think he’ll take care of you.
