I have had a CDL Class A. I have about 9 years experience driving tractor trailers hauling dry fertilizer and also hauled Radioactive Waste for 5 years.
The company I work for now told me I didn't qualify to drive a tractor trailer saying I didn't have any van experience. My question is where could I go to get more experience without having to do The Class A traing over. Any advice would be appreciated.

If it was OTR then the type of trailer is a moot point. Most companies will hire you. I have seen many a driver with no reefer experience get hired on with reefer companies.
