prolly fine, but I'd go with jeans and workboots. you don't want them to think you're a nancy-boy

Nothing........Nothing at all..............Oilfields..hmm...Certainly wouldn't overdress. Steel toes, nice jeans, and a polo. Honestly I don't think they'll be that into your apparel as long as you don't look homeless.

And a Hardhat and Safety vest might be a nice touch. Show up like your ready to get with it.
MP3 > CB Thanks this. -
i wore a satin blouse and trousers but that was just me
warrior81 and luvtotruck Thank this. -
Satin Blouse wouldn't fit in with the MANLY Oil Field Crowd! But I bet you looked the part!

FR gear like your ready to work.

Whatever you wear don't show up in flip flops.

i wore a nice jeans, sandals with socks on for sure nd a nice shirt that was just me

If it's just an office interview, your choice sounds fine. If they are taking you out to the work site, I'm sure they would've mentioned it and warned that you'd need your work boots and safety gear. The place I'm working for now, didn't tell me to bring safety gear until orientation.
