Years ago my Dad bought a new trailer and even though we are located in TN, the trailer was registered and titled in OK to pay less taxes.
We are getting ready to buy a new trailer and was wondering if something like that is still the case.
What state to register trailer in

I think Maine is a cheap one used a lot
-
Oklahoma is permanent tho
-
Maine:renewel every two years around $200
-
? 5 year plate and title is cheaper than that, 5 year or 10 renewal... I'll call tomorrow and ask. It's cheaper than that
-
Question, I've noticed alot of the Megas plus UPS and Fedex are plated in Indiana....whats up with that?
-
Tn. is a permanent tag also. If you have a MC number or leased to a company you can fill out an exemption form & you won't have to pay any sales tax. The last trailer I registered back in April was right around a hundred bucks.
