I am interested in purchasing a Brand new Truck. what steps should I take into purchasing a truck. I have really good credit, clean motor vehicle record. Will i have to set up a business account with my bank? I want to get hired on by a company that provides their authority and insurance to get my feet wet.

Actually purchasing the truck was pretty strait forward, kinda irritated about waiting for thd title so I can do IRP though...anyway, its an easy process but there is a ####loaf of red tape afterwards. Also, bring a blank log book and have them print off your insurance wherever you buy it to have for the trip home.

Mine was used, I also have great credit. I chose my truck after months of looking. Went with a flatbed fleet truck. I found it online, called them and told them I wanted to look at it. They set it aside. I filled out a credit app they gave me which they transfered to a finance manager. Took about 3-4 days for them to approve me as a guaranteer through my newly formed LLC. Checked the truck, they fixed the issues. Funding took another 2 days. Took the truck home.

What type of finance rate did they give you?

Unless you're going to pay cash for a new truck and have no payments, you'll probably do much better getting your own authority and not leasing on with another company. Insurance will cost a lot depending on what state you're in, but you'll make more on your own. At least that's how it worked out for me.
