The past Christmas break it was under 20 degrees every night , snow , etc...came back to work Wednesday , and she cranked right up. Sputtered a little bit , but was like everyday. No additives , full tanks of fuel.

It doesn't matter was the temp was when you left it if the temp warmed up when you started it.

I call BS. Since #2 diesel became regular use, I was never able to start a truck if the temp was colder than 15. And you also didn't answer my questions. Did you use fuel additives? Did you plug the truck in? Even now at my current job, none of the trucks will fire up when no one plugs them in and the temps fall below 15, and the trucks are only a few years old.

I dont care what you call , and if you read , I said it had no additives , it was in the quote you originaly replied to , unless your getting my post mixed up with another one. Simmer down and read a little bit first turbo.

Not having additives only answeres one question. I also asked if you used #2 diesel. I also asked if you plugged it in. #2 diesel solidifies at 32° and gels at 15°. This is not myth, and it's not made up BS. Any certified diesel mechanic will tell you this. Any truck manual written after '08 will tell you this.

    Rolly Thanks this.

It wasn't plugged in , and I'm assuming it was #2 diesel , it's what ever our company uses in the yard to fuel up with everynight. We don't have enough spaces for all of our trucks to get plugged in and where the belly dumps park at is on the back row where the plugs arent installed yet.
