What the difference between extra stop or extra drop ?

    For example I know about the extra drop like for 1 pick up and 2 drop or 3 drop
    In my trip I did so many pick up drop pick up drop but every pickup has one the drop
    Is the company's pay driver for extra stop or just extra drop ?
