What Thing(s) Improved Your Trucking Experiences

I've never been known to be sensitive or PC ..

 

My boss, in the old days, wouldn't hire a fat driver. He said that in our line of work a fat man was a lazy man. It was true, too...you never saw any fat guys working in the woods. Or working anywhere else in trucking either.
Now? Fat drivers everywhere.

 

You and I may have a different concept of health food.

 

The first thing I can think of that is being able to play the music from my phone via the USB outlet in the radio.

 

I agree a 100% . The old boy that taught me always said the same thing told me a fat man can 't swing a gate or run when a cow is about to eat his ares ..

 

Yeah apparently that was a bad choice of words. I guess it's nice sometimes when at 3 am I can walk in a truck stop and get something other than pop and candy bar.
Yogurt, fruit, meat and cheese, salad stuff like that

The bus pulls up with the new class a few days before we're about to test out ( still done with a state man then ), and this dude gets off the bus, the bus is actually rocking, had to be 400 pounds.

His calves were as big as my torso, and legs purple below the knees.

At least size 60 shorts.

He just kind of looked to his left and right for a few minutes, and I let out a," Oh my F God."

All I could think of was the cry Godzilla makes as he was looking around.

 

I just get out dare and shake my money maker like it can’t be broke…..
