I get my own truck Monday. Is there anything extra I should bring on the truck that I didn't bring for training? I went pretty light for training. 2 weeks of clothes, shower/laundry stuff, sleeping bag, pillow. Tablet, phone, and the chargers for them.

Best to wait till your in the truck. In a few days on your own your gunna learn real quick what your putting in there.
In my truck I got a fridge, TV, xbox, microwave.tscottme Thanks this. -
Hit up Walmart, buy a cheap hammer and basic hand tools. Buy 2 flashlights, a good rain poncho, stockpile a few days worth of water and shelf stable food(don't eat/drink it, keep it for when you actually need it). A box of latex gloves, mini-broom for cleaning cab.
Essentially walk into a truckstop, write down everything you want/need, then go buy it for 40% of the price at Walmart.
Also buy athletes foot cream/spray just in case your flip flops fall off in the shower of funkiness.tscottme, AtticusRoad, TequilaSunrise and 3 others Thank this. -
