Bring a good, quality can opener.

    Plenty of extra water.
I thought that goes without saying. But I have never owned an electric can opener. There was never one in the house I was raised in either. I saw one at a friends house when I was a kid. I was mystified!

I recommend a 6 D cell Maglite. It can be handy for self defense. Plastic zip ties have all kinds of practical uses. Keep some spare cash stashed in a few different places as well.

A good utility knife has countless uses. Bring a couple vise grips.

I keep a couple of grease pencils for marking holes when sliding tandems. A trick I use is to put a couple refern e marks on the pavement next to the drivers door so I slide them the right distance.

    Redtwin Thanks this.
