Nags me to deliver on time when I know my limits and I know that the road conditions is not safe for travel? They are not even here experiencing firsthand what the weather is like. They probably just decide from the safety of the computer screen. They have a way to play with you psychologically to prod you to get moving. What to do?

They will SCREAM, they will ABUSE you, they will threaten you, they will be PROFANE and NASTY but as long YOU ARE SAFE in a lawful spot, No one can tell you to OUT now. Aint happening. Not until it's safe.
SOMETIMES it's NOT up to you. Some states SLAM the gates on the highway SHUT. You stay put. -

"Son remember, when you wreck that SOB--ain't nobody gonna pat you on the back and tell you--it's ok we know you were trying. They jus gonna fire your ###, so ya might wanna keep that in mind."

Like the others said, politely tell them to take a hike, but do it on the Qualcomm (or whatever system your company uses) so there's a paper trail.

Do what you want. Yes, you're responsible for safe operation of the vehicle. Maybe or maybe not, you're involved in a truly serious weather event making for dangerous, difficult travel, regardless of experience level. We don't know.
But just keep this in mind ... They have computer screens showing the status of all their other trucks in your area. If most are moving at near normal speeds, and you're not/won't, then this raises questions inside the office.Lepton1, Pianoman, gentleroger and 1 other person Thank this. -
