I can't believe how many load shifts I've had to do with paper rolls and no securement other than the anti-skid mats... #### vans think they can just close the doors and roll, had a couple trailers break in half from that.

The stupidity of the loaders where I get rolls is they have plenty of our straps and all trailers have e-track. A row of 5 or 6 straps, straight up, would offer some resistance. My next concern would be that pulling in the sides of the trailer, with 22,000lbs sliding forward. I’m not sure. But, there has to be a better way than rolling the dice.

 

I’d start by giving myself 100% of the blame for not securing my load, not paying attention to a stale green light, and hitting the breaks so hard this happens.

 

So all the rest of the load slid forward, and that 1 fell over. You're goona have to find a warehouse, wreckin yard, etc to rework that.
