The reset is in contingent that you have been actually been running atleast 8 hours a day every day before you take the reset.

If you run 8 hours every day then you'll never need a reset.

    Just sayin.

Not talking about xzay but ppl think anything over 40 hrs is way overworked and FMCSA has alot to do with that.

Freight is low and they're trying to give everyone a decent amount of miles thats why.
    Atleast to my understanding

There is no money to be made in 8 hour days. That is ridiculous.

@Moosetek13 can you verify here please

Dispatchers who used to drive are the worst imo. "Back in my day I'd drive for 24 hours straight. Why can't you drive for 16 hours a day?" Well back in his day you didn't have elogs and he's the reason we have them now. He also once told me "I never used to chain anything down." Like he was bragging about it lol.

When I was driving I had to find a safe haven often . That was because I pushed as hard as I could to maximize miles.

If I was told to scale backs to 8 hr days I would be gone. I thinks it's because they have so many drivers they can repower loads and get it there and save money at the same time.

Eh that's illegal here. So instead I just text them after the call or email. That way there's a record. "Just wanted to confirm that you want me to take this load even though it's overweight. Thanks." If they call don't answer. Just text. I'll also send pictures of an issue to them so it's all recorded at what time and what was said.
