    Hello All

A friend of mine has a small freight brokerage , he pays quickly and without issues, recently a carrier took a load , missed 3 appts and now saying he won't del until he gets paid in full before making del, of course there's no guarantee he'll do it even after the payment, he's held it for the past 9 days, police won't do anything except doing a report and say pay that F....r, he'll report it to carrier411 as well
He's frustrated, customer is ready to kill him and already dropped doing bus with him
Any suggestions on how to deal with this unethical carrier ?
    Thank you

Could there be more to the story that your friend isn't telling you? Like maybe he was supposed to unload on a Friday but when he arrived they gave him a Monday appt? Not say there is, just asking. Has to be a reason that the carrier took the load to storage instead of delivering to receiver.
Would love to hear the drivers side of this.

Yeah sometimes that's a broker's fault, once my truck was sitting for about 3 days because broker didn't make an appointment right

He should have a copy of his cargo insurance on file. Just file a cargo claim.
