    PTL trucks have APU's.

Big-M Transportation might hire you also. Beautiful trucks also.

USA Truck would be the last on my last. Pam everyone that posts gets poor mileage. Celadon and Swift are good choices.

Where in NC? Any interest in the construction industry, rather than freight hauling?

I have just started with ptl and been out on the road out of orientation for 2 weeks now. So far I have been pleasantly surprised with what I have seen. This is a good company that really cares about their drivers and the equipment is good too most internationals no more than 3 yrs old and some freightliners but bulk of those are automatics so that would depend on your preference. Judging from the companies you listed this would be your best bet you, these other companies would be a choice I think you would regret. Hope this helps make your decision an easier one and give me a shout if you have any other questions.

Have you contacted Abilene Motor Express, Cargo Transporters and Schneider??? All three are good choices. Cargo Transporters is a decent company and I have yet to see a bad review on them.
