It's time for: Boring Trucking Stories!

I was pulled in for a Level 1 inspection at the Cottonwood scales in Tehama county, California once when I was driving for Indian River Transport.

The tank was filled with orange juice and it was foaming, coming through the seal, down the outside of the tank and dripping. Not heavily, but a drip nonetheless.

The inspector complained about the mess made while mopping and connecting with his inner janitor. He knew the load was sealed and that there was nothing he could have me do about the leaking.

I received a clean inspection and lived happily ever after. I'll bet that inspector wasn't too keen on pulling in IRT trucks after that.
