Hello fellow drivers and agents;
what should I expect during Landstar orientation?
how long it lasts? Is there a driving or parking test?
am I be able to get a load as soon the orientation ends?
if I leave in the area of the orientation, do they provide meals or such during?
anyway...just curious about these things. Thanks in advance for all the good info.

Does anyone knows if Landstar allows to leave the truck/tractor at their terminal when going home? I live in the Dallas area and it is a pain in the behind to leave my truck anywhere near home...and the ones that have tried either got a ticket/towed or robbed. The closest truck stop is about 20 miles from home...same distance from the Landstar terminal. I would be very happy if when coming home, could leave the truck there... And I am only asking because I am not leased yet...but soon....very soon!

They change this alot..I feel the BEST one is in Lewiston PA...They go to HOSS'S and it is very very good..They also put you in a very nice Best Western in Lewiston with a truck stop right across the street...
Landstar will wine you and dine you before they run it right up your ###...
