I have a little experience pulling water tanker. Overfilled everytime, on purpose. So I was driving at max gross weight of 99,800 lbs. I do know that there are many different types of tankers (baffled, smooth bore, dry, food grade, and I am sure that there are many more.) What is the primary tanker type that students would be trained on?
What to expect with your trainer/ bulk division.

I got my CDL, hazmat, and tanker in the last week, and I start Schneider Bulk training at Caraopolis right after Thanksgiving. Thanks for the helpful thread, Ethos. Hopefully I'll be seeing you on the road soon.

We do not pull baffled tanks. There are not many companies that do. We do have compartment tanks but you won't pull those often and most of the time one of those mean a multi stop. No food grade at all.
