    Hit up the ltl's and go local. Fedex freight and ABF have apprentice programs for new drivers.

    Old Dominion, ups freight, estes, con way, saia, r + l - hit em all and follow up.

    Gain experience, work into a bid route, make great money and benefits, and be home everyday not sleeping in a rolling toilet.

    Yes. Be home for that shower, dinner, and then 4 or 5 hours sleep. Then you get to wake up, and do it all over again.

    That clock starts when I park the truck a quarter mile from my house.

    Like Anthony said browse the forum and whatever company you're most interested in see what others have posted about them.Drivers know what the company is like,now a recruiter who has everything memorized what to tell drivers.
