Training/teaming for a few weeks after completing orientation. Likely a less than superb truck once you start solo. Hassles from dispatch, delays at shippers and receivers, the occasional breakdown, DOT wanting to take your every dollar, inclement and poor weather, traffic jams, inconsiderate drivers, sleep issues, plenty of time away from home, a lack of respect from the general public, crappy parking, trucks blocking the fuel isle, layovers, Qualcomm units, etc.
There are plenty of other issues as well. But for all the negative drawbacks, I'd still take this job over an office any day of the week. I love it out here. -
