What to pack? 7 weeks away

    The Geordie is going to Europe for 7 weeks. He's driven artics for years but this is the first job he has had where is he required to stay out overnight. Somewhat of a shock as it's a 7 week tour of Europe. Please give advice. What should I pack for him? He's carrying sound equipment for bands on tour. Please help a novice other half I know he will miss home and I want it to be comfortable for him at least. x

    He's a man. t-shirts and jeans, 1 pair of workboots, 1 pair of casual shoes, a nice sweatshirt, and a not so nice sweatshirt. Travel light.

    If he doesn't have one, buy him a decent camera if its in your budget (even most cameras considered basic "point and shoot" cameras are getting really nice for the money). There are a lot of things to see in Europe, especially if he hasn't been there before. Every time he "clicks" he'll be thinking of you!

    Also think about a travel adapter. Our electronic devices have a different plug than in Europe. You can buy a small adapter (usually 10 to 20 bucks for most I have found) that let you plug our north american devices into european outlets. If he has a laptop or other electronic devices he's going to need one. Depending where you are in europe there are a few different types of outlets. I've seen travel packs that have adapters to accomodate all the different kinds out there.
