Hello,
I'll be leaving for orientation soon, I'm trying to figure out what all I need to take on the trainers truck with me so far I have a sleeping bag, pillows, toiletries with a travel bag, flashlight, laundry detergent, i got a small bag of tide pods, easy storage! , 7-10 days of clothes, work boots and my nikes, work gloves, direct deposit forms and diploma from cdl school. I am wondering what else I should take, im gonna stock up on snuff when I get out of Florida, it's way cheaper across the border in Georgia!what else should I be brining on the truck? I don't wanna piss my trainer off by brining too much stuff. I Hope to be writing honest reviews of my days as a company driver in the motor carrier forums. Thanks yall

Tylenol or something similar. Expensive in truck stops

You might think about a small ice chest or cooler.... Just to keep your drinks in....also a laptop or tablet for when you are in the sleeper before actually going to sleep... Or a couple of good books.....there will be downtime especially if your dragging a reefer unit.... Remember some days you will be sleeping at night almost like a normal person and the next day you will have to sleep in the daytime..

Call your trainer ask him if he had fridge & microwave. Then bring coffee mug & large or XL drink jug. Like those 44oz/64oz, am/pm or 7-11 cups. Drinks add up out there. If he has fridge and microwave, get those packaged Mac & cheese and tuna fish packets. Or canned chicken. Inexpensive food & snack options. Wendy's, arbys, subway, iron skillet, country kitchen & dennys are great but #### adds up. What else; phone charger, pen and notebook (take good notes) bath towel/shower shoes. That's about it

I plan on getting a truckers atlas when I get out there, I live about 50 miles from the nearest truck stop haha, I also have a bath towel I need to get shower shoes, I
Have a backpack im going to get a composition book and some pens and a ruler. In case I have to use paper logs in training. Also getting my rewards cards set up! I was going to buy a case of water and use my yeti cup lol. I also plan to pick up Dramamine and Tylenol, I won't be pulling a reefer just dry van. As far as eating fast food or truck stop food, I may do that once a week or so but I plan on continuing to try to eat healthy on the road as well. -
Oh yeah this might be weird but I had a tiny spray bottle with alcohol to disinfect toilet seats and hands. Forget about the little stuff sometimes
