A stress test is on a tread mill with increasing difficulty for 10 minutes. One of three things will happen, you keep walking no problem and pass it, or you have heart attack and they resuscitate you or you self fail the test anytime prior to the end time when you decide you have had enough.
Usually those are handed out to take a look at the heart. If the DOT doctor heard something wrong in the heart they can drill down and figure it out quickly.
We are here to help you with information where possible. We are not your enemies. When I go to a doctor I give them my surgical history which date back to age 1 and certain injuries with physical traces that they will find. Other than that I don't tell them anything other than specfically what they ask, if they ask. Most of the time there is no trouble.
This industry as I have stated in the past requires you to be reasonably healthy and fit. I dare say fitter than about 90% of the people who drive a car.
What to tell Dot physician.

I only tell the the surgeries with visible scars. As little as possible. I'm 29 and hit the gym daily. I don't need them giving me. 21 questions when I know I'm fine. I was in a really bad car accident. To them I broke my arm, not nearly bled to death from a cut in half liver.
Tell them only what they need to know. -
