For ANY job interview, you wanna be dressed just one notch above what would be standard dress for the position you are seeking. If job is jeans, works shirt, and boots...show up in nice new pressed jeans, clean button up shirt like similar to the uniform, clean but nice shoes...if you show up in a tie, you will look way too eager. Do some research, find out what everyone on the job is wearing, and go in making it look neat, clean, and professional so consciously or subconsciously the interviewer will see that you can be presentable in the dress they expect.
...then once you are in the door, then you can break out the wide beater and flip flops!

If this is a trucking job then why over do it on the dress for success. All they really care about is your mvr,dac the things companies online ask for.Heck if you overdo it ,the truckers out in the yard may see you all decked out and laugh and think he's deffinately not trucker material.Just make sure your clothes are not holey and you have a nice not worned comfortable pair of shoes on.There is such a thing as too overdressed.
Lilbit Thanks this. -
Yes! You are going to a job interview! Dress to impress and bring your well written resume with you! Sit up straight, don't be a shlub, speak english loud and clearly, look them in the eye, don't waste too much of their time, blah, blah, blah.....
Good luck!
