What training companies DONT check Blood pressure with a valid 2y DOT certificate

If you have to take a physical you will get your bloop pressure taken so I would suggest asking your doctor to prescribe bp medicine.

 

Or do like pattyj did and get someone to take the physical for you.

 

Well now, exactly what meds do they prescribe for "bloop" pressure anyway????? LOL!

 

There's a few.I'm on Lisinopril that's the mildest bp medicine.I have a doctors appt Wednesday just a follow up on my bp then he will prescribe more.

 

My trainer had a student blackout behind the wheel due to blood pressure. The student only had enough meds to pass physical and did not tell anyone about the issue the problem can become compounded when driving mountains. Love ckily trainer was able to grab wheel and student was able to press brakes and avoid a serious accident. Blood pressure can be a serious problem and should be taken care of.

I was picking on your misspelling of blood - you wrote 'bloop' instead and it tickled me; good luck at your doc's - I'm on Lisinopril and Metoprolol but still get 2yr cards for some reason.

 

Making fun of my typos huh.lol.That's odd you get 2 yr med card unless you don't tell the doc your on bp medicine.

 

Actually, I lied - kinda, lol. I just realized the last card was a 2yr card issued before I developed prehypertension - I reup on July 20th; that'll be a one year card for sure. Sorry!
