Again you have no idea how batteries work if you think you get the same out of that battery vs a lithium battery. A lithium battery can run all the way down and still work fine. Your battery cannot and can only go to about 40 percent and then shuts off. Not the same available usage.

I ran in ALL the hot areas with these batteries and had no issues. Been In the Phoenix while over 110 and no issues. Heat is not an issue any different than the lead batteries.

The Lithium battery is anything but made in the USA or with USA materials and 2X the cost. So the point is if you want to support the Chinese then don’t complain when you aren’t willing to haul cheap freight while others are.
With the Bluetooth technology there is no reason to run a battery to zero charge so why pay the extra cost? Seems to me if you are that educated on batteries you would look after them better than that.

Lithium have no issues running all the way down. That is why you can use the full amount of battery unlike Lead batteries that can only be ran down to 40 percent. If I used Lead batteries I do not get the amount of hours off duty before starting the truck up on my 10 hour break. They normally will go out in 8 if hard amount of electronics being used with the AC running full blast and having my fridge on. The cost of the batteries gives me more resting hours without needing to get up and start the truck to charge the batteries.

If we made more stuff in the USA I would not buy anything else. The problem is being fixed right now but will never be good enough to buy 100 percent USA. So your point of buying a battery from China and cheap freight is pretty weak. I buy more Made in the USA stuff and shop at most Mom and Pop places and eat at most Mom and Pop places every chance I get. But I also use every tool that is needed to not waste every minute of my time on stuff on the internet that I need and on the road but need to get it. So Amazon which is one of the worst for USA in my eyes I use for stuff. That would be way more of an issue with providing freight for the cheap 1 mile club.

I don't know why you say Lithium's are 2 x the cost of lead-acid agm batteries, in my experience they are cheaper.

Odyssey AGM ODX group 31's are $590 now....

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002498NR...=&crid=36YFYIR0JJJLJ&sprefix=odyssey+agm&th=1

Compared to a BMS equipped Litime Group 31 with bms and 10x cycle life, plus able to discharge down to 5% vs 40%...

Here is there new model at 150AH in the same footprint, not suitable for starting, but great for EPU's.. at $238 free shipping.

AGM, lead acid is great for company drivers who turn the key and call roadside when it doesn't go anymore. But O/OPs and businessmen who own their equipment and are looking for everyway to improve their bottom line, should really consider Lithium.

I know this year alone it has saved me almost 200 hours of idle time. That's 200 gallons of diesel, at $3 per gallon, that's $600. Plus whatever emissions cost benefits that I have saved, 'cause a NOX sensor is running about $500 now from the dealer. Plus Idle time on the motor. $$$

The 400 LBS of weight savings, allow me to add another 50 gallons of diesel, which also gets me to next the lower priced fuel stops. I'm a tanker and always 79.5 gross, so before the batteries I always used to have to play with how much fuel I have so I don't over gross.

So, as a businessman, I save minimum $1500 a year. That's significant in my one O/OP business plan.
