What truck do you recommend for a new Owner Operator who just got their CDL?

    Hello all. I just recently got my CDL A, and I'm looking to purchase a truck. The only truck that I've driven thus far is an international at the yard, (not really a fan). My problem is everyone that I've asked gives different feedback. Some say Volvo's are horrible, while others say their the best. Same for Peterbilt. I was looking into Freightliners but was told the Cascadias are horrible. Right now I'm leaning towards Volvo or Freightliner. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

    if you just got your cdl, why the heck do you wanna buy right away? you better go lay down till that thought goes away.
    you need a few years under your belt before you know if this career is what you really want to do.
