What truck stops do you avoid? Location and name?

Any Truckstop In the state of New Jersey . I have yet to find one that you can get in and get out with spending 45 mins stuck behind someone

 

Are there many Mom & Pop truckstops? Surely running a truckstop has some big overheads to finance, Gas, Food Showers etc

The pilot in North Little Rock always has a ridiculous line. The Love’s there is pretty congested too, but it at least doesn’t stretch on the public road.

and I pretty much avoid fueling anywhere in Michigan.. much love to you Canadians, but any QC or ON plate is almost guaranteed to do a 30 in the fuel island.

 

I have yet to see a Loves fuel island that was not a train wreak. 10 pumps and 1 guy fueling. The rest are on the 30 min break or in the shower not caring for their fellow drivers

 

Yep. We all see it every day.

 

TA and Petro unless it's early morning and I'm just stopping (and pulled forward) at the pumps to use the bathroom.

And I avoid any truckstop in/near a major city.
