Neither you missed something really important here, it is not the name on the data plate but the company that owns it. You can have a truck that is built just for you and have a complete tool as a boss, or you can get a cookie cutter truck and have a fantastic boss. If the brand of the truck is what is the most important to someone who is a driver looking for a job then that would be the driver who could keep looking in my book. -

Also, I would hope that the pay, benefits, and working conditions were relatively decent, along with doing everything LEGALLY, to avoid getting into trouble with D.O.T. or the law. -

As a Maverick driver, I'd go with the KW.....the ParkSmart EPU is crap, the Auto is great, but as someone mentioned already, the XY shifter is expensive to replace, and , also....the Freightliner build quality is atrocious!!!!!!......also, our trucks have twin 80 gallon fuel tanks.......
