What Truckers Want You to Know - Input from Truckers Please!

Your wasting your time. The public doesn't care what they should know about us. Hell I have them talk down to me like I'm garbage in restaurants and stores.

 

Not to be mean but I'm probably as interested as they are.

I would like to add something. If it says NO TRUCKS LEFT LANE, do not ride the middle lane while going under the speed limit. This goes for anyone with wheels. I don't want to and sometimes I can't pass you on the right and I don't want to risk a 3rd lane violation.

That is probably the worst thing about driving in America. A country where a Corvette and a minivan have to do the same speed, with the minivan most likely riding the left lane.

 

Don't be afraid to "kill" the cruise control in certain situations and don't be afraid to momentarily accelerate slightly in certain situations ... both to reduce the amount of time you spend in the immediate vicinity of a truck. Cars can much more easily manipulate their speed and momentum then a heavy truck. Pacing along-side a truck is not cool, is dangerous, and is stupid

 

I almost hit a motorcycle the other day and another driver that was behind me told me where he was at after we got stopped.(his cb doesn't work)

I was in the far right lane and saw 2 cars coming down the on ramp I flicked the turn signal on looked in the mirror ahead and looked again and started merging next thing I hear is a bunch of horns and see a motor cycle going to the far left lane giving me the finger. The other driver said the motorcycle was riding the white lines on his left about even with my drives. DONT RIDE NEXT TO ME IF YOUR GONNA GET OUT THERE GO AROUND. that's the most annoying g thing. Or when I'm at a stop light in a city make my turn and your being a dumb ### and a ####### at the same time cause I can either drag my trailer over the curb and kill 4 people standing there or you can back up alittle bit and give me some room to turn I consider my self to be a pretty decent truck driver but GIVE ME SOME #### ROOM I'm not a miracle worker.
