What trucking companies only require a year after preventable accident?

    Have about 2 years Trucking experience, my first year was fired from Swift Transportation because of recordable accident. Been over a year since accident, clean year. Anyone know a company that only requires 12 months from accident? Most companies have been 2 -3 year wait ​

    How many wrecks before this one? Swift doesn't fire for one wreck unless it was a rollover.
    We need to know what actually happned.

    Swift doesn't even fire for a rollover. You need three preventables in 12 months.

    I bent a bumper up pretty bad when I was there like 6 years ago backing into a tight dock and only had to do a simple online test and a backing test

    Many companies will hire you the next day after a wreck. If you go by what's on the trucking companies websites, you'll never find a job.

    If you look at his post it says recordable. So I'm assuming a DOT Reportable accident. Nothing that would buff out Lol.
